Welcome to the City of Bell Gardens' website. The City of Bell Gardens was incorporated as a general law city in 1961 and is as rich in history. It is bordered by the City of Commerce, Downey, South Gate and Bell. The City has a population of approximately 44, 000 in an area of 2.5 square miles and is located in the southeastern part of Los Angeles County.

The City boasts of offering beautiful parks, emerald green soccer fields, childcare centers, a sparkling lake stocked with fish and waterfowl, and a community golf course. Also, while the economy is facing many challenges throughout California, the City of Bell Gardens continues to grow and prosper.
