Zoning Ordinance Information
The City's Zoning Ordinance is currently being updated. Here you will find the commercial land use section of the official zoning ordinance.

Zoning Map
The official zoning plan for the City of Bell Gardens will be made completely available in the immediate future. Currently, you will find the locations of the commercial zones within the City.

A business license request is reviewed by the Planning Division to determine compliance with the Zoning Ordinance i.e. permitted use, parking, signage, property and building maintenance, etc.

Zoning Compliance Application

Upon zoning compliance approval, application is forwarded to the Business License Division for finalization of license issuance.

Process Conditional Use Permits, Variances, Site Plan Reviews, Land Subdivision, Zoning Ordinance Amendments, Zone Change, General Plan Amendment and Special Use Permit
