Trash Service The City of Bell Gardens has residential, automated curbside disposal service provided by Norcal Waste Services, Inc.

Recycling containers for aluminum, plastic, and paper waste are available by contacting Norcal Waste Services at (888) 853-5110.

Free large item disposal for removal of refrigerators, couches and other items is available. Call (888) 853-5110 to arrange for a special pick-up.

Street Lights

Street Lights are part of the Los Angeles County Lighting District. To report street lights that are out of service, please call (562) 806-7770, or (310) 608-5064.

Graffiti Removal

City crews will remove graffiti by painting or wet sandblasting.
Graffiti removal within one working day (weather permitting).
Eight (8) basic paint colors, or owner can provide paint.
Signed release form needed prior to removal from private property.
Reward for reporting graffiti taggers. Please contact the Police Department for details.

Don't throw away that used oil! It is illegal to dump used oil! Recycle used oil and receive $0.16 per gallon at one of six certified used oil recycling centers.

Tips for recycling oil:

Contaminated oil is not accepted.
Carry oil in clean, non-breakable containers. Do not use metal containers.
Do not mix oil with bleach, paint, solvents or automotive fluids.
Maximum container size: 5 gallons.
Maximum drop off: 20 gallons per day.
