ATP CYCLE 5 – Citywide Complete Streets Improvements, Phase 1 (CIP No. 3903)

The City will begin construction on the ATP Cycle 5 - Citywide Complete Streets Improvements, Phase 1 Project, starting July 14, 2025. This project will improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users throughout the city.

Improvements Include:

• Improved Pedestrian Crossings:
• Reconstruction of sidewalks and driveway approaches in select areas.
• Enhanced visibility at crosswalks.
• Installation of a new HAWK (High-Intensity Activated crossWalK) signal.
• Improved Accessibility:
• Upgraded curb ramps to meet current accessibility standards.
• Intersection and bus pad improvements for easier access.
• Upgrades to infrastructure:
• Reconstruction of curbs, gutters, and cross gutters.
• Road resurfacing.
• Utility Adjustments:
• Adjustment of water meters, valves, storm drains, sewer manholes, and electric pull boxes to ensure they are level with the new street surface.
• Enhanced Road Markings:
•  Application of new street markings and striping.
