We’ll be back to regular business hours on Monday, January 5, 2026.</p><p>The following City offices will also be closed during the holiday:</p><p>•Bell Gardens Veterans Park Administration Office</p><p>•The Community Family Service Center at Veterans Park</p><p>•Senior Center at Veterans Park </p><p>•Clara Street Senior Center </p><p>•Ford Park Main Office</p><p>•Bell Gardens Veterans Park Game Room</p><p>•Neighborhood Youth Center</p><p>•Sport Office and Sports Center</p><p>•Aquatic Center</p><p>•Public Works Office Closed. To report emergencies, please contact the Police Department.</p><p>•City Planning, Building &amp; Safety, Business License, Housing, and Economic Development Offices</p><p>•Code Enforcement Office. Urgent matters to be referred to the Police Department.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Other City offices, programs and services:</p><p>• Please note there will be no street sweeping on January 1. Street sweeping is not rescheduled, so be sure to park accordingly on these dates!</p><p>• Please note there will be no trash collection on January 1. Closed 1/1 and 1/2 (Veterans Park Game Room, Neighborhood Youth Center).</p><p>•After-School Sites - NYC, Veterans Park, Marlow and Ford Park Sites Closed on 1/1 and 1/2</p><p>•Homework Club closed.</p><p>•Art Space - Open Art Studio Experience canceled on 1/1.</p><p>•Resident Art and Yard Sale canceled on 1/2.</p><p>•Park Pool &amp; Aquatics programming closed</p><p>•Golf Course will remain open 7 AM to 3 PM, last tee at 1:30PM, on 1/1.</p><p>•Golf Course will remain open 7AM to 4:30PM, last tee at 3PM, on 1/2.</p><p>•The Free Farmer's Market is closed on 1/2.</p><p>•Police Department services will not be impacted by the holiday and will continue to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.</p><p>•Public Records Request submitted on New Year’s Day will be deemed received by the City Clerk’s office on January 5, 2026.</p><p>•Passports. No passport service appointments.</p><p>•The City of Bell Gardens provides up to 6 large sandbags to residents on a first come, first serve basis due to limited supply.&nbsp; Residents can pick up sand &amp; sandbags at Public Works, 8327 Garfield Ave during working hours Monday through Thursday 7am to 5pm.&nbsp;&nbsp; Proof of residency is required and visitors must check-in at the front office.&nbsp;&nbsp; During after-hours and weekends, sand &amp; sandbags are also available to residents at the Fire Department, 7000 Garfield Ave.&nbsp; Please call the Public Works Department at (562) 806-7770 for more information.&nbsp; </p><p > Happy New Year from the City of Bell Gardens! 🎉</p>
