Update: ICE Incident in Bell Gardens

Bell Gardens – The City has received information that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) made an isolated arrest in Bell Gardens this morning. The City, including the Council and all staff, was not aware this activity would be taking place and was not involved. The City Council and staff are here to protect and serve all of the people of Bell Gardens, regardless of their immigration status. Any information on social media or from other news source that says otherwise, is false.

UPDATE : The City has learned that this morning’s arrest was made on a suspect with prior felony convictions and previous charges of multiple violent crimes.
