City Council Meetings/ Successor Agency Meetings

These meetings are a formal gathering of the elected officials to discuss city business in an open forum. The public is welcomed to attend the City Council/Successor Agency Meetings. These meetings provide an excellent opportunity for you to engage with the city council, stay informed and participate on city related business.

Meetings of the City Council/ Successor Agency are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month, at 6:00 p.m. for regular meetings, and at 5:00 p.m. for Closed Session meetings as needed.

The meetings are held in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 7100 Garfield Avenue, Bell Gardens, CA 90201. Any one interested in viewing the live meeting can do so in the following ways.

Public Participation

The City Council encourages you to get involved, participate and attend the upcoming city council meetings. These meetings are an opportunity for you to share your ideas and concerns on important topics within the City Council's jurisdiction. The members of the public may address the City Council during the designated period for public participation on any item listed on the agenda and for non-agenda items. Public participation can be made by any of the following ways:

In-Person		Members of the public can provide in-person participation at the podium in the Council Chamber. Public participation are limited to (3) minutes per speaker, unless different time is announced by the presiding chair. Speakers who wish to address the City Council should do so by submitting a "Public Comment Card" by beginning of the meeting.

Written Comments		Written comments may be emailed to PublicComments@bellgardens.org or mailed to: City Clerk's Office, 7100 Garfield Ave., Bell Gardens, CA 90201. To ensure distribution to the members of the City Council prior to consideration of the agenda, please submit comments no later than one (1) hour prior to the meeting. Those comments, as well as any comments received after, will be distributed to the members of the City Council and will be part of the official public record of this meeting.
