The City of Bell Gardens understands and supports the public's right to access the public records created and maintained by the City. It is the goal of the City to provide service in a transparent manner, which includes timely access to requested records in accordance with the California Public Records Act (PRA), Government Code Sections 6250 to 6270.

You may request records by telephone, in writing, by email or in person using the Public Records Request Form.

The City Clerk’s Office shall, within 10 days from receipt of the request, determine if the records are subject to disclosure and notify the requester.
