Fireworks Sellers Permit Application

On May 11^th, 2026, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 967, which allows for non-profit organizations to apply for the sale of Safe and Sane Fireworks in the City for the 2026 4^th of July holiday. 

To apply for a Safe and Sane Fireworks Seller’s permit, complete and return the required application documents no later than June 15, 2026, along with a check for $150.00 made payable to the City of Bell Gardens.

A maximum of three (3) permits will be issued. Only those applications which are complete and meet the application criteria will be eligible for the lottery drawing. The lottery will take place on June 18^th, 2026.  Those applicants that are selected will be notified prior to June 18^th with the time and location of the lottery.
